Celebrating the centennial of Armenian film with a curation of its many cinematic gems. The programme of 5 features and multiple shorts also functions as a fundraiser for the displaced people of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

In this quintessential masterpiece from the 1960’s Soviet Armenian cinema renaissance, a scientist keeps returning in his mind to the past, to the years of the Second World War and to the beloved he lost. Screening preceded by the short film Flight.

The projection booth of Moving Arts Center Amsterdam was unfortunately hit with a municipal outage on three-phase power, which is the power that a film projector runs on, making it impossible to screen the feature film of the evening.As we’re still experiencing this outage, and have no control over when the issue is resolved, we regrettably see no other option than to cancel this weekend’s programming of Cinema of Belonging.
