Join us at MACA for the premiere of Children of the Field, a powerful documentary by Stefano Di Pietro as part of the Football Makes History project. Filmed in the heart of Itatí, a vulnerable community in Buenos Aires, this film explores the profound impact of fútbol on the lives of its residents—a microcosm of the broader Argentine experience.

After the screening, there will be a Q&A session with Stefano Di Pietro the Director, Jonathan Even-Zohar, the Initiator of the Football Makes History project and Astrid Bruchou, Argentinean co producer of the film.

And be prepared to be immersed in the Argentinean culture, as LA REINITA will be selling their famous empanadas, milanesas, and fernet.

About the Director:

Stefano Di Pietro is an Italian-born Film Director. His films have been screened in 50+ international film festivals globally and received international awards such as the Berlin Independent Film Festival (2021). He has directed projects for institutions like FIFA, UNESCO and Anne Frank House. His films have been part of exhibitions in Museums such as the MACRO and Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. In October 2023, he interviewed the Minister of Education of Ukraine in Kyiv for the internationally distributed film he directed “War On Education”.
